Any agent can put your home in the RMLS system. But will they do more? We are members of both RMLS (covering most of Oregon, primarily the Portland Metro Market) and WVMLS (Willamette Valley’s MLS, covering Marion, Polk, Lynn, and Benton counties). In joining WVMLS, we are able to expose your listing to an additional 2,200 agents who are members of this smaller MLS, making the total number who can view and sell your home around 14,000. In a county that spans the areas covered by both organizations, complete exposure is crucial.

There are hundreds of publications available to Realtors® in which to advertise a listing. The trick: figuring out which publications are most effective. The Real Estate Book is unchallenged as the most widely used publication in our industry. It has the highest distribution and is recognized everywhere as a reputable and reliable resource to find properties for sale. In our local county, the Yamhill County Real Estate Guide has become a very effective publication as well. It is imperative for any Yamhill County property to be exposed in this magazine. Classified and real estate sections of newspapers are also checked often for real estate listings. We advertise weekly in both the News Register and the Newberg Graphic.

Through the regional multiple listing service (RMLS.com), the Willamette Valley multiple listing service (WVMLS.com), our own personal site (TheBellaCasaGroup.com), and real estate’s largest print publication’s website (TheRealEstateBook.com), your property’s listing will be circulated to hundreds of real estate websites.

Marketing

Effective marketing is too often overlooked in the industry. Many agents end up marketing themselves just as much, if not more, than the properties they are listing. Our marketing philosophy is much different. In fact, much of our company advertising and marketing is completely separate from the advertising of our listings. Our clients can be confident that we are wisely using the space on flyers, postcards, in real estate print publications, and on websites to thoroughly promote their homes. While information about our company is necessary in advertising, the properties we market will remain the focus of our ads. We believe in separately promoting our company so that it doesn’t detract from the promotion of our listings.

Furthermore, Realtors are Realtors because they are good at what they do: real estate. As a small and localized company, we are hypersensitive to the fact that in most companies marketing is a department all its own. This is why we are always pushing to better our skills. We work in professional programs such as In Design, Illustrator, and Photoshop to ensure that the marketing materials we produce are classy, aesthetically pleasing, and effective. It is essential, especially in today’s litigious society, to have a professional Realtor® working through the negotiations with you. Though Realtors® are not a resource for legal questions, they can and should be able to diplomatically represent your best interests to the buyer, assist in ensuring that proper milestones are met throughout the transaction, and skillfully guide the transaction to a close. We have the experience of closing hundreds of transactions and have gained skills and knowledge for what it takes to get the job done efficiently for those we serve.
